Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ3's 79.6 global score. Samsung Galaxy S8's construction is lighter and notably thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ3, although it was released only 18 months before. The Xperia XZ3 features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S8, because although it has a bit lower 1440 x 2880 resolution and a just a little lower pixels number per screen inch, it also counts with a little larger screen.
Xperia XZ3 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xperia XZ3 has a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking images in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a camera with a way better 19 mega pixels resolution and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia XZ3 features a little better battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3330mAh battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Galaxy S8 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, making it a no doubt choice.
