The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is a bit better than Xperia XZ3's score of 79.6. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's design has the same thickness than the Xperia XZ3, but it is just a bit heavier. The Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a little bit lower display density and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2880, it also counts with a little bigger display.
Xperia XZ3 features just a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. They have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 20 percent more battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking pictures or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
