Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the Xperia XZ3, having a global score of 80.1 against 79.6. Even though the Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than the Xperia XZ3, it is thicker and a lot heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit better looking display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as Xperia XZ3, both of them have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and equal internal storage.
Xperia XZ3 has a bit better performance than Galaxy XCover FieldPro. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a much better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a back camera with a much better 19 megapixels resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality photos and videos and a lot better (4K) video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with greater battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 35 percent more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is more expensive than Xperia XZ3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia XZ3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xperia XZ3, letting go a couple features and specifications.
