The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than Sony Xperia XZ3, getting a 94.6 score against 79.6. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is newer and noticeably thinner, but also way heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ3. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has older 11 version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xperia XZ3 features a better display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a bit higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better performance than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Xperia XZ3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a camera that's just as good as Sony Xperia XZ3's camera, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a lower (4K) video definition and a camera with a way lower 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations and a lot bigger sensor taking lot higher quality photographs.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with improved battery performance than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3330mAh.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way more expensive than Sony Xperia XZ3, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
