Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 VI has an overall score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ3's global score of 79.6. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 1 VI has the previous 14 version and Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a noticeably thinner and way lighter phone than Sony Xperia XZ3.
Xperia XZ3 features a bit more vivid display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little smaller screen, a just a little less pixels per inch of display and a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2880. Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage.
The Xperia XZ3 features a much more powerful processor than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Sony Xperia 1 VI features a better camera than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also has a bigger aperture, faster video frame rate, a much more MP back facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and videos.
The Xperia 1 VI has a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
