Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 global score. Although the Sony Xperia XZ3 and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus were released with only 2 months difference, the Sony Xperia XZ3 body is just a bit thicker but also just a little bit lighter. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version, offering lots of additional features and better performance.
The Xperia XZ3 features just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit better looking display than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia XZ3 also has more pixels per display inch, a little more brightness and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880px.
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has a lower resolution back facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, they both have a F2 camera aperture and a same size back camera sensor. Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features just a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
