Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZs is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a score of 77.2 against 76.4. Sony Xperia XZs is a heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but both are equally thin. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a little bit better looking display than Xperia XZs. Both have a display with the same size, the same pixels density and the same resolution of 1080 x 1920px.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a processor that's just as good as Sony Xperia XZs's processing unit, they have the same RAM memory amount and a Quad-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Mi 5s has a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia XZs, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Xperia XZs takes a lot better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same back camera sensor size and a F2 aperture, the Xperia XZs also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and higher video frame rate. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 5s. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
