Comparison review

LG G2 is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z, having a 73.7 score against 67.3. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the LG G2 has 4.4.2 version while Sony Xperia Z has Android 4.4.4. LG G2's construction is thicker but a little lighter than Sony Xperia Z, and both were only released with a couple months difference.

The LG G2 features a little more vivid screen than Xperia Z, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the LG G2 also counts with a little larger screen. LG G2 has a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.

LG G2 has a little faster processing unit than Xperia Z, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core processor, the LG G2 also has a much better GPU working at 450 MHz. LG G2 features a lot better camera than Xperia Z, although it has a camera in the back with lesser mega-pixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

LG G2 has longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z, because it has a 29% more battery size.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG G2 is also cheaper.
