Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 81.8, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z1's 71.5 global score. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is newer, thinner and notably lighter than the Sony Xperia Z1. These devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the newer 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.2 version.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z1, because it has a 64 bits CPU, a much better graphics co-processor, a higher number of cores and 1 GB more RAM. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better looking display than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a little bigger display.

The Galaxy S6 Edge costs a bit more than the Sony Xperia Z1, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
