The Motorola Droid Turbo has an overall score of 76.4, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z1's general score of 72.8. The Motorola Droid Turbo design is newer, but way thicker and a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z1. Both of these phones have the same Android 4.4.4 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a bit superior CPU than Xperia Z1, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Motorola Droid Turbo also has 1 GB more RAM memory and a faster graphics co-processor. Motorola Droid Turbo has a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440, a better screen density and a quite larger display.
