The OnePlus 8 has a global score of 76, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z1's score of 72.8. Even though the OnePlus 8 is somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia Z1, it's just a bit thinner and a lot newer. Sony Xperia Z1 counts with a slightly better display than OnePlus 8, because although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density.

The OnePlus 8 counts with a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 6 GB more RAM memory. OnePlus 8 counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.

OnePlus 8 has a really longer battery life than Xperia Z1, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a lot more mega-pixels back camera, a larger camera aperture to capture better photos and video in low light environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
