The Google Pixel XL has a general score of 81.3, which is much better than the Xperia Z2's 72.9 overall score. Google Pixel XL is a a lot newer cellphone than the Xperia Z2, but it is a little heavier and a little thicker. Sony Xperia Z2 features a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel XL, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a just a little worse display density.
The Google Pixel XL features a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z2 features a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z2 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Google Pixel XL counts with a much better camera than Xperia Z2, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 12.3 mega-pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, they both have a same size back camera sensor and a F2 diafragm aperture. The Google Pixel XL features just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia Z2, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Google Pixel XL is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia Z2, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
