The OnePlus 8 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2, getting a 76 score against 72.9. The OnePlus 8 body is newer and a bit thinner, but also a little heavier than the Sony Xperia Z2. OnePlus 8 has a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.

OnePlus 8 has a display that is just as good as the Xperia Z2 one, because although the OnePlus 8 has a bit inferior count of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bigger display. OnePlus 8 features a way better camera than Xperia Z2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a bigger aperture, a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a larger sensor.

The OnePlus 8 counts with a superior storage to store more games and applications than Xperia Z2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The OnePlus 8 features improved battery duration than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
