The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2's 72.9 general score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ construction is newer, a little lighter and somewhat thinner than Xperia Z2. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more recent 5.1 version while Xperia Z2 has Android 4.4.4, so it gives you some extra features.
