Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 is better than the Xperia Z2, having a global score of 81 against 72.9. Sony Xperia 5 is a just a little bit heavier phone than Xperia Z2, but they are equally thin. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Sony Xperia Z2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The Xperia Z2 counts with just a bit better display than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a little smaller display, a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit worse pixel quantity in each inch in the screen. The Xperia 5 takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia Z2, because although it has a smaller camera sensor offering a lower image quality, a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture for better captures in low light environments.
Xperia 5 has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z2, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia Z2 has a little longer battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
The Xperia 5 costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z2, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
