HTC U Ultra is a little bit better than Xperia Z2a, having a 77 score against 73. HTC U Ultra is a just a bit heavier but incredibly thinner phone than the Xperia Z2a. The Xperia Z2a has a bit better processing unit than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Xperia Z2a also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Xperia Z2a counts with a little more vivid display than HTC U Ultra, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a quite smaller screen and a little bit less pixels per display inch. HTC U Ultra captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia Z2a, although it has a much worse 12 megapixels resolution camera and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, they both have a 0.43 inches back camera sensor.
HTC U Ultra has a much better memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The HTC U Ultra's battery performance is just as good as Xperia Z2a's battery performance.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z2a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z2a, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
