Comparison review
LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z2a's general score of 73. LG G5 is a a little lighter and thinner phone than the Sony Xperia Z2a. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G5 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2.
The Sony Xperia Z2a features a bit better looking screen than LG G5, although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, a little smaller display and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Xperia Z2a counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG G5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Xperia Z2a also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
LG G5 counts with a bit better camera than Xperia Z2a, although it has a smaller camera sensor taking worse quality images, a lot lower resolution back-facing camera and a worse (4K) video definition. The LG G5 has a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z2a, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xperia Z2a features a little longer battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z2a. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xperia Z2a, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
