The LG Q8 has a global score of 77.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z2a's global score of 73. The LG Q8 design is lighter and notably thinner than Sony Xperia Z2a. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but LG Q8 has 7.0 Nougat version while Sony Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Xperia Z2a features a bit faster processor than LG Q8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Xperia Z2a also counts with an extra graphics processor. LG Q8 features a slightly better screen than Xperia Z2a, because it has a greater screen pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
LG Q8 features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has 16 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery life in Sony Xperia Z2a. LG Q8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2a, although it has a back camera with a much worse resolution, a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images and a worse 3840x2160 video definition.
