Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z2a's overall score of 73. The LG V30S ThinQ is a way thinner and just a bit lighter cellphone than Sony Xperia Z2a. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Sony Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2.
The Xperia Z2a has just a bit better display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a just a bit lower screen density and a bit smaller display. LG V30S ThinQ has just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z2a, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG V30S ThinQ features a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z2a, although it has a way smaller camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, a lot less megapixels back facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia Z2a, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z2a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z2a, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
