The LG V40 ThinQ has a score of 81.2, which is much better than the Xperia Z2a's general score of 73. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the LG V40 ThinQ has older 10 version and Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2 version. LG V40 ThinQ is a just a little heavier but noticeably thinner phone than the Xperia Z2a.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a much better camera than Xperia Z2a, although it has a tinier back camera sensor, a back-facing camera with a much lower resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution.
