The Moto Z2 Play has a score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2a's 73 general score. Moto Z2 Play's construction is noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter than Xperia Z2a. The Sony Xperia Z2a has a little faster processing unit than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has lesser CPU cores (although they are faster) and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
Sony Xperia Z2a features a much better screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Sony Xperia Z2a also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch. Moto Z2 Play has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z2a, although it has a much worse 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z2a, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. Moto Z2 Play's battery duration is just as good as Xperia Z2a's battery life.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Moto Z2 Play is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
