Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro has a global score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z2a's global score of 73. OnePlus 8 Pro is a somewhat heavier but noticeably thinner cellphone than the Xperia Z2a. OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Sony Xperia Z2a, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and 5 GB more RAM.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Xperia Z2a, because it has a lot bigger display, a lot higher 1440 x 3168 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The OnePlus 8 Pro takes a lot better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2a, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has faster 60 fps video frame rates, a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
OnePlus 8 Pro features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2a, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 Pro features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z2a. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z2a, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
