The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a global score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z2a's 73 overall score. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's design is thinner but a bit heavier than Xperia Z2a. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version while Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2.
The Xperia Z2a has just a little better processing power than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Xperia Z2a features an incredibly better screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a better 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Xperia Z2a shoots clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better (4K) video resolution and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back. Galaxy XCover 5 features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z2a, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB and 48 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy XCover 5's battery duration is just as good as the Xperia Z2a one.
