Xperia XA2 Plus is a bit better than the Xperia Z2a, getting a 78.6 score against 73. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia Z2a has Android 4.4.2, so it gives a couple nice extra features and improved performance. The Xperia XA2 Plus is a heavier but somewhat thinner phone than the Xperia Z2a.
Xperia Z2a and Xperia XA2 Plus both count with very similar CPUs, because although the Xperia XA2 Plus has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 3 GB more RAM. The Xperia Z2a features just a bit better screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixel density.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia XA2 Plus features better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a 19 percent more battery size.
Xperia XA2 Plus features a much better camera than Xperia Z2a, and although they both have a 0.43 inches camera sensor, the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a more megapixels camera in the back.
