Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is much better than the Xperia Z2a's 73 general score. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Xperia XZ2 Premium is a just a bit thicker and a lot heavier phone than Xperia Z2a. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little faster CPU than Sony Xperia Z2a, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and also faster).
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better looking display than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a much better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a bigger screen and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. Xperia XZ2 Premium captures much better videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z2a, although it has a lower resolution back facing camera and a lower (4K) video resolution, they both have a 0.43 inches sensor.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Xperia Z2a, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium has greater battery life than Xperia Z2a, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia Z2a. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Xperia Z2a, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
