The Xperia Z5 Premium features a little better performance than Xperia Z2a, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics co-processor and the same RAM amount, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has 4 more processing cores.

The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z2a, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 200 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z5 Premium takes better photos and videos than Xperia Z2a, and although they both have the same sensor size, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a more mega-pixels camera in the back.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z2a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z2a. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z2a, letting go some specifications.
