Google Pixel 2 is slightly better than the Xperia Z3, having a general score of 81.6 against 75.8. Even though Google Pixel 2 is a little thicker than Xperia Z3, it's just a little lighter and also much newer. The Sony Xperia Z3 has just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor.
Sony Xperia Z3 has a brighter screen than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a quite inferior pixel number per inch of screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a quite larger screen. Google Pixel 2 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xperia Z3 has longer battery duration than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 15% bigger battery capacity. The Sony Xperia Z3 features a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a much more MP camera in the back and a larger sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Google Pixel 2 is also by far the cheapest one.
