Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z3's 75.8 overall score. Samsung Galaxy S8 is a a lot newer phone than Xperia Z3, although it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier. The Xperia Z3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a little sharper display than Galaxy S8, although it has a lot lower screen pixels density, a little smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080. Galaxy S8 features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Xperia Z3, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB.

The Sony Xperia Z3 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos.

The Xperia Z3 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3100mAh battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S8 costs a little more money than the Xperia Z3, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
