Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z3, with a general score of 78.3 against 77.3. The Sony Xperia XZ1 body is a lot newer, somewhat thinner and a little lighter than the Sony Xperia Z3. The Xperia Z3 features a more vivid display than Xperia XZ1. They have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, a same size display and the same pixel density.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XZ1, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor.
Xperia XZ1 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia Z3, although it has a less mega pixels back-facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, they both have the same diafragm aperture and a 0.43 inches camera sensor. Xperia Z3 counts with improved battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 19% more battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z3, letting go a couple specifications.
