Google Nexus 5 has a global score of 76, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Z3+'s score of 73.7. The Google Nexus 5 construction is just a little bit lighter than Sony Xperia Z3+, but it is a lot thicker and was released about 19 months before. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 5 has older 4.4.3 version while Sony Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version.

The Google Nexus 5 features a better performance than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores. The Google Nexus 5 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z3+, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixel density.

Xperia Z3+ features a greater camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera in the back with way more MP, a bigger camera aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations and a way larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia Z3+ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Z3+ counts with better battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 27% bigger battery capacity.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z3+. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Xperia Z3+, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
