Comparison review

Motorola Edge 50 has a general score of 81.2, which is better than Xperia Z3+'s global score of 73.7. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Motorola Edge 50 has a more recent 14 version while Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Motorola Edge 50's design is way newer, but thicker and much heavier than the Xperia Z3+.

Xperia Z3+ has an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 50, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM. Motorola Edge 50 features a little bit better looking screen than Xperia Z3+, because it has a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a better 1220 x 2712 resolution and a larger display.

The Motorola Edge 50 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a larger aperture to take better images and videos in low light environments, a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a lot larger sensor taking way better quality pictures.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z3+, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much better battery life than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
