Although Moto G Stylus is much newer than the Xperia Z3+, it is noticeably heavier and way thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but the Moto G Stylus has newer 11 version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, so it provides you some extra features.

Xperia Z3+ has a brighter display than Motorola Moto G Stylus, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch. Moto G Stylus counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z3+, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Moto G Stylus counts with a little faster processing unit than Xperia Z3+, because it has a higher number of 2000 megahertz cores and more RAM. Moto G Stylus shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Moto G Stylus also has a larger camera aperture, a bigger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution camera.

The Moto G Stylus features a superior battery performance than Xperia Z3+, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Moto G Stylus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z3+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z3+. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Moto G Stylus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z3+, resigning a couple features and specs.
