Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than the Xperia Z3+, with a general score of 86.5 against 73.7. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version and Xperia Z3+ has Android 5.0, giving a couple additional features and better performance. Samsung Galaxy M31 is a much newer phone than Xperia Z3+, but it is notably heavier and a lot thicker.
Sony Xperia Z3+ has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels count in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a better performing processing unit than Xperia Z3+, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores.
Galaxy M31 takes better videos and photos than Xperia Z3+, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M31 also has a bigger aperture for better low light photos, a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality photos.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z3+, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a much better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z3+, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 2930mAh.
