The Moto Z4 is slightly better than Xperia Z4v, with a 79.8 score against 78.8. These devices come with Android operating system, but Moto Z4 has the newer 10 version and Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1 version, providing the user some additional features and some performance improvements. Moto Z4's body is extremely newer and thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z4v.

Xperia Z4v features a way better screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a higher amount of pixels per display inch. The Moto Z4 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Xperia Z4v, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.

The Xperia Z4v counts with a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z4v also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Motorola Moto Z4 takes much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z4v, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments, a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher resolution camera.

The Motorola Moto Z4 has improved battery performance than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.

Although Motorola Moto Z4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z4v. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Motorola Moto Z4, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z4v, giving up some specs and features.
