Comparison review

The Galaxy Note Edge is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z4v, with an 81.7 score against 78.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note Edge has the older 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1. Galaxy Note Edge's design is a little bit thinner than Sony Xperia Z4v, but it's just a little heavier and was released about 10 months before.

Sony Xperia Z4v features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xperia Z4v, although it has lesser CPU cores and a worse graphics processor working at 500 megahertz, they both have the same RAM memory amount.

The Xperia Z4v captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z4v also has a lot better 20.7 MP resolution back facing camera, a larger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality photos.

The Galaxy Note Edge's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to Xperia Z4v's one, both have the same internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a battery life that is just as good as the battery duration in Sony Xperia Z4v.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z4v. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note Edge, else you can save some money and get the Xperia Z4v, letting go a couple specs and features.
