Comparison review
Apple iPhone 8 is much better than the Xperia Z5 Compact, having an 85 score against 75.1. Although the Apple iPhone 8 is a little bit heavier than the Xperia Z5 Compact, it's thinner and noticeably newer. The iPhone 8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has a lower number of cores and doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the iPhone 8 also counts with a 64 bits processor.
Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit better looking display than iPhone 8, although it has a quite smaller display, a just a bit inferior pixel count in each display inch and a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 720px. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact takes just a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size aperture, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher image and video quality.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has a 48% larger battery capacity.
The Apple iPhone 8 costs a lot more than the Xperia Z5 Compact, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
