The Motorola Moto Z4 has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Compact's global score of 75.1. Motorola Moto Z4's body is newer and thinner, but also heavier than Xperia Z5 Compact. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Moto Z4 has 10 version while Xperia Z5 Compact has Android 5.1 version.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact counts with a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact counts with just a bit better screen than Motorola Moto Z4, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, a much lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a way smaller display.

Motorola Moto Z4 features a much better storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
