Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's 75.1 global score. Samsung Galaxy Note9's design has the same thickness than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, but it's much heavier. Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit better CPU than Xperia Z5 Compact, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Note9 has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a really larger screen, a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a way higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has lower video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photographs and video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also counts with a larger sensor and a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a much longer battery performance than Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 48 percent more battery size.
The Galaxy Note9 costs a little more than Xperia Z5 Compact, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
