Comparison review
Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, getting a 79.3 score against 75.1. The Galaxy S6 edge+ construction is extremely thinner but a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and both of them were only released 1 months apart. These phones work with the same Android 5.1 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has a faster processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (but slower) and an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy S6 edge+ features a better looking display than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a much better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a larger display and much more pixels per inch of display.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact also has a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a bigger camera aperture and a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xperia Z5 Compact has a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 200 GB. Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
Galaxy S6 edge+ costs a bit more money than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
