Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, having a global score of 84.2 against 79.8. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's construction is noticeably newer, but somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. These devices include Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, so it provides lots of additional features.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a much greater display density. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a way better battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
