Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL has a score of 81.3, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 score. Although Google Pixel XL is a little thicker than the Xperia Z5 Premium, it's a little bit lighter and also newer. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a higher pixels quantity in each display inch.
Google Pixel XL has more memory to install applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor and a larger number of cores.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium captures clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size back camera sensor, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back camera with much more megapixels and a larger aperture to take better low light images and videos.
Google Pixel XL and Xperia Z5 Premium both have very similar battery durations, although the Google Pixel XL also has a 3450mAh battery size.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go some features and specifications.
