The Motorola Edge 50 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Motorola Edge 50's design has the same weight and thickness than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 has the newer 14 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, providing a lot of extra features.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processor.
