Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z4's global score of 79.8. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is better than the Motorola Moto Z4, it must be told that it is also much older, a bit thicker and a little bit heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version and Motorola Moto Z4 has Android 10 version.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little better performance than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels amount per screen inch and a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Moto Z4 has much more memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Moto Z4 has a little better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 3600mAh battery size. Moto Z4 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Moto Z4 also has a much more mega-pixels camera, a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture for better low light photography and videos.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto Z4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z4, giving up some specifications.
