Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, counting with a couple nice extra features. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is just a little heavier than Xperia Z5 Premium, it's a bit thinner and also newer.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional GPU. Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has more internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a bigger camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos and a much better resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a bit better battery duration than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an 8% more battery capacity.
