Samsung Galaxy M30s has a global score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. The Samsung Galaxy M30s body is notably newer than the Xperia Z5 Premium's, although it's just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M30s has newer 11 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, providing the user some nice extra features.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy M30s, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy M30s captures slightly better videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy M30s also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera with way more MP.
The Galaxy M30s features a very superior battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
