Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is slightly better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version. Although Galaxy M31 is noticeably newer than Xperia Z5 Premium, it is just a little heavier and thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 and Xperia Z5 Premium feature extremely similar CPUs, because although the Samsung Galaxy M31 has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Xperia Z5 Premium has a lot better screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
The Galaxy M31 has a superior camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher 64 mega-pixels resolution.
Galaxy M31 features a much better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
