Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is much better than Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. Samsung Galaxy M31s's construction is a lot newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than Xperia Z5 Premium. Both devices we compare here have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M31s has a more recent 11 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, so it gives some nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a way better looking screen than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixel amount per inch in the display and a way higher 3840 x 2160px resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a processing unit that's just as good as the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium one, because although the Samsung Galaxy M31s has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, it also counts with more RAM.
Galaxy M31s shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31s also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy M31s has a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a much longer battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 75 percent bigger battery capacity.
