Comparison review
IPhone 7 Plus has a score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Xperia Z5's global score of 77.6. IPhone 7 Plus's body has the same thickness than Xperia Z5, but it is heavier. The Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better looking display than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a little higher pixels density.
The Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit superior processing unit than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has 4 more cpu cores and a graphics processing unit. IPhone 7 Plus has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia Z5 has a slightly better camera than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a way larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 7 Plus, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Z5, letting go some features and specs.
