Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Xperia Z5, getting a global score of 84.2 against 77.6. Even though Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a lot newer than Xperia Z5, it is somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it offers lots of additional features and performance enhancements.
The Xperia Z5 has a much greater hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics processor. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has just a bit better display than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a little higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures much better videos and photos than Xperia Z5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a lot better video definition, a camera with a way better 50 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a really longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
