The Google Nexus 6P has a score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. Google Nexus 6P's design has the same thickness than Xperia Z5, but it is heavier. The Xperia Z5 features a little bit better screen than Google Nexus 6P, although it has a little worse pixels density, a bit smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Google Nexus 6P counts with a better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better CPU than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z5 also has a graphics processor.
The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a 0.43 inches sensor and the same video definition, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low-light situations and a back camera with lot more MP.
Google Nexus 6P features longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3450mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z5, giving up some specs and features.
